All this talk of chimps has reminded me of a brilliant television programme I devised on Saturday night.

Monkey Casino.

Set in a big top with Sherilyn Fenn as the ringmaster, resplendent in fish net tights a big ringmasters frock coat and top hat.

The croupier will be Barnaby the Bonobo, (who will smoke a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas and have some of those little metal band things to keep his shirt sleeves up) the game Texas Hold 'Em poker.

Channel 5 are well up for it.
