The thing is when he signed for Brisbane he was a big signing but he has not performed to the level people expected and that is reflected in the fact they are willing to let him go. He will still be looking for very good money but maybe he won't be able to command what he did when he joined Brisbane.

The Panthers got the better deal by releasing him to Brisabne as releasing him paved the way for Petro to join, that said, Clinton would would kill it here IMO should he rediscover his form of two years ago - rather similar to the O'Meley scenario in that regard.

But, we have been said to be working under the cap all last year, and with the release of Fitzhenry, Makka, Fozz and Gene, I reckon we could fit Clinton there or ther abouts in those four players salaries along with Hodgson, Ratu and Cook.
