I aint seen alot of the Doggies this season but it seems their fans are not to happy about him coming to us(if rumours are true). Will try to catch the replay of last weeks game, a friend said it was good. I have seen the Barba try and that was incredible!

As for our second row, losing Newts would be huge. Hopefully Cox will see some regular first team action and from what I have seen so far it would be criminal if he doesn't. Not sure about Taylor yet as a first choice S/R or prop, he has impressed recently but I just don't see what position suites him best yet. Leaving Galea and Horne as our only experienced S/R's. Maybe a risk the club is going to take.

I'm don't care much about the quotas - and we could perfectly legally have a dozen overseas players. But, purely from a political stand-point, I think we have to release [uat least[/u a couple. We have 9 now, with Taulapapa, O'Hara and, seemingly Paea coming in. That'd be 12. Vella is probably going, so 11. Fisher perhaps, as well - but if so we'd be very short of British alternatives and Withers would seem likely.

I thought the signing of Talupapa(sp)was a strange one, Im not the biggest fan of Latus but of lately he is doing better IMO and we have signed a young lad from the youth team, Johnson is it? Plus Hall could do a job for us on the wing. Yes he has probably been brought into play full back but if a British lad say of the quality of Smith is available, we should have made that move.

Agree, Smith would make sense if available. As you say, Latus has improved no end in the last 3/4 matches, but Hall looked very good against Saints. I hope he keeps the shirt for the remainder of the season, as he has little chance of getting a game in the centres. Talupapa is a gamble, how big is open to speculation (on his wages).
