Hull show the highlights only, They also have the interviews and features but not the same level of content as Rovers but we have being paying for premium content for last season also so I would certainly expect Rovers tv to be a better service.

What has happened to Club rovers members now? we used to get the KR TV as part of the deal. seems to have gone very quiet on that front.

the club rovers scheme looks like it was a gimic to raise a few quid at the time it was launched. people can't really expect to pay a one off £60 and expect to get freebies for the rest of their lives! floored from the start.

again, the new hkr tv maybe a quality product, but i think a little more vision should have been used with this.

with the rsg rapping in, the club should be looking to launch some kind of supporters club with an annual subscription to include other stuff including the tv service. answers on a postcard!

It's effectively defunct now isn't it? Excepting maybe the teamcard part? Vaguely recall somebody from the club saying something along the lines of it being too one-size-fits-all. It was Elston's vision, iirc, and he wasn't there long enough to see it through.

Maybe we should get some of our £60 back then. I did it to suport the club & I could afford it & did not use it as I could have but I would expect an Email occasionaly or some special offers now & then ?

Why would you get your 60 quid back? You've had access to Hull KR tv for 2 years. Frozen pass prices, a ten quid derby ticket all chucked in as well

Free away ticket to france,mm or london IIRC also was in with the frozen pass price,tv,cheap derby ticket,money off the shirt and it gave you teamcard which if anyone had one but didnt bother to use is hardly anybodies fault but there own.
Easily covered £60 in anyones money,unless you didnt buy a pass or a shirt or a derby ticket or watched hull kr tv and didnt go to france,mm or London but then again if you did none of the above why would you buy into club rovers?

I'll admit, I was having a little moan earlier.

Club Rovers didn't really end up working as intended but it was worth sixty queens.

I'm just miffed if we can no longer get free highlights, well, not free, we'd payed for it through Club Rovers.

If I'm being honest, I'm one of the first to say the club should increase it's revenue streams as we work towards being self sufficient.

So im looking into getting this as its currently only 30 quid, when you buy it do they just email you with a link to the content, or some password to open it up, how does it work?

It seems very reasonable price wise, but could it discourage some supporters attending games if they have can see the full game retrospectively?

Yes pay ya money,then within 24hrs your username and password comes thru then you go to account and change ya password if so required.
Cant see any reason why a family wouldnt want to pay £35 for the full 80 mins Challenge cup and SL games.And much much more......
Thats just over £1 a game over the year,bargin of the year and best since roving far an wide !

Im guessing that the weekends full game wont be available till after wednesday because i believe SKY have exclusive rights upto then but i could be wrong.
Cant see fans staying away,more likely fans will want to see it again after watching live and to the far away fan its a god send.

And it has a legends section and the games have decent commentary !

I contacted Hull about a similar scheme last year and was told they couldn't do it because of image rights, I was also willing to pay £150 for just the home games on delayed coverage.

I think hkr have come up trumps here, the £35 is worth it just for the Derbys.

I have not looked into it yet but can I buy it for my lad in Sydney ?

OFC. It's just a better version of the service they rolled out in previous years to fans living far and wide where they used to send out the DVD's etc.

I'd presume so, unless they can't play with a foreign IP address like BBC Iplayer.

Which was £60 2 years ago and £99 last year so £35 is far far better value.
