Last i heard he was mulling over a contract offer from us after we turned our attention to him owing to Motu Tony turning us down. I cant see him turning down the chance to play in Super League.

So Rovers looked to replace Briscoe with Motu Tony and have now turned their attentions to a 29 year old Tongan who has never played at SL level before and who has a questionable attitude and who apparrently is only 'mulling over' a contract offer???

With hefty new pay deals for Dobson, Green, O'Hara, Hodgson and Graeme Horne and the rumour of a SOO forward being announced soon, perhaps the cloth has to be re-cut accordingly.

With Rovers tightening their belts what makes you say our current players recieved hefty new pay deals. Where also losing Fisher, Vella and possibly Newton & Clinton. Would be surprised if that's not 500k on the four of them. Add in Colbon, Fox, Briscoe & Cook which is probably 300k. Rovers had to sign these players on big deals to keep ourselves in SL now we are established we can look for better value for money on the players we sign.

She hasn't a clue and simply surmising. As I've just done in my last post..

I think we are agreeing. Talaupapa of Sheffield Eagles is possibly very good value for money.

Wasn't impressed initially, but looking for a positive the Sheffield fans rate him as among the best in that division. Hopefully a decent and versatile addition to the squad.
