Renewed my East Stand pass and asked how the sales were going and was met with the reply "Brisk!". Last year the response was "Slow!" How things have changed.

Forgive me if I appear thick but how can season passes be sold to supporters if we do not know what the season is going to be. The RFL don't know yet what the season is going to be, so how do Rovers. If we finish below the top 8, god forbid, and we are going to play 4 teams from a lower division I am not happy forking out good money to watch a lower standard of rugby league. I don't think the passes should have been put on sale until the problems with the NRL are sorted.

The uncertainty is over 2015 and beyond. 2014 will be the same format at 2013.

Sounded quite upbeat compared to 10 months ago.

Going to sort ours out next Saturday we didn't get one this season as hubby away a lot but defo renewing for next season

I've been told building work has started at Craven Park to improve acadamy facilities by a relative of one of the lads with a contract at Rovers. The're laying a pitch etc on theland next to it.

Can anyone confirm this? they got the impression things at Rovers are very much on the up. A string of interviews and recruitment for backroom staff and money to spend. Good news if true.
