There was not a single chant aimed at Gareth Thomas by the East Stand yesterday, and no matter how many times you repeat a lie, it doesn't make it true.

And yes, I stayed beyond the end of the game. The only player who had a song directed at him was Raynor, and every word was factually correct (and deserved!).

I was in the east stand with my wife and niece, I heard no chanting against GT, in fact most were commenting on his rugby abilities and how he would have been a star had he turned to RL in his twenties. We did have one lad (probably aged about 17) make a comment on his sexuality, but was told to grow up by the guy stood near him.

The bloke has got guts as a man to do what he has done, far more than it takes to play a game of rugby, he should be applauded at grounds IMO.

Moderating is art not science. I do it with a paint brush in my fist and one of my dad's old shirts on back to front.

With rubbish or dieing threads (the latter applies here), there is also the possibility they might drift somewhere better. But if there is a sense that a thread, especially a potentially sensible and interesting one, is being [idriven[/i off course by somebody with a not particularly well hidden agenda, then they must be smited... or possibly smote. Not literally, obviously. Admin very much frowns on that sort of thing.
