I never heard the interview but I imagine that particular comment was tongue in cheek. It's the sniping between the supporters that I don't get, given that you're not rivals.

At my work, I have the displeasure of working with lots of city fans. The constant egg chasing, crap sport, m62 game, its our stadium, you're ruining the pitch etc etc jibes begin to wear you down after a while.

The fact that many have also jumped onto the Rovers bandwagon doesn't help either

The vast majority of City fans dislike RL and hate the fact that they have to share 'their' stadium with an RL side. They launch brickbats in the direction of the FC support, and sure enough the favour is returned.

There's no logic to it, but who ever claimed that sports fans were logical folk.

City fans struggle to accept the fact that there are more RL fans attending games in the City than they can get to their games.

Yes if the Stadium was bigger then they probably would sell more tickets but that only counts for Premier League football, something City will not be playing for a long time after this season.

Seriously though, I only know one out of a real lot.

I thought it was because City fans are generally bell ends having jumped on the band wagon since the KC was built.

When I followed City home and away in the late 80's and through the 90's all City fans were good people, miserable due to the rubbishness of the team but still funny people.

This new bunch are the biggest group of Meff's I have ever clapped eyes on.

oddly enough most of the ones I know are like that, and some suddently became life long fans about 2/3rds of the way through last season.

I dont go anymore, the place is full of dweebs.

You would be wrong then, most of the Rovers fans I know are City fans as well and have been for years, there has always been animosity between many Hull FC fans and City for some reason.

With the current form, lack of firepower and the defensive shambles at the moment I can't see any other outcome but relegation.
