Anyway, Dobson out against Cas at very least - bottoms. Bad weather I'd maybe go with an extra forward, not so bad, then perhaps give Beharrell a shot, including Hall in the team and an back on the bench as insurance.

Assuming Withers isn't available either, then I'd guess at Beharrell (sorry if that spelling is wrong) and Hall or Beharrell and one of the second rowers.
Ideally you'd want the lad to make his debut alongside an experienced halfback partner, but that'd be a pretty sub-optimal situation and that is probably the best we could make of it.

Low from what CS said in his after match interview at the weekend. He broke his toe a few weeks ago - not sure how long that generally rules you out for, but I guess it is one where you lose fitness, as training be would difficult.

At some point the kids have got to play, you can't keep playing injured / ill players all the time otherwise the like of Beharrell etc will never get a game.

I did see him in the friendlies and thought he was very steady. If Burns is out as well I would go with Hall and Carlile in the halfs. Hall can be the creative off the cuff player and then you still have Carlile who is steady and not going to make many mistakes. Only missed 4 tackles all season which for a KR player is very impressive.

Hall or Cory really. I just decided that having to pretty much all the organising and kicking is too much on debut, the flip side is Hall won't offer him much protection.

I've only seen clips of him and read positive reports, as Mild Rover said earlier, ideally you'd like to blood him with an experienced half but if at this stage of his development we're not going to play him at home against a struggling Cas side then when do you play him?

This is exactly why the likes of Beharrell should of being playing when Burns was banned at the start of the season, rather than making do and playing players out of position, like Withers etc.

With hindsight sure Sandercock wishes he had given him a run out against Wakey.

Other clubs play there youngsters when they have injuries about time we started given them a chance too.

Cas are the worst side I've seen in SL and they won't have their bowling ball of a winger playing so wouldn;t worry who your halves are. dobbo will be back for the derby but will likely be at risk of breaking down in the game. Didn;t you rush him back for the KC derby a couple of years ago and he was anonymous? Not good for your kicker to have hamstring problems
