I'm a big fan of Fishers but over the last two seasons he's been gradually less and less affective. Part of this I think is the role he's been told to play but he's also deteriorated generally.

presumably nick johnson and liam salter's promotion to the first team along with jordan cox getting more game time and the impending signing of graeme horne means there's at least 4 new englishmen in next years squad with dave hodgson.

I never recognise them every season, I constantly think Colbon is someone else, (and I can't even remember who it is) it's usually your husband or his friend who tell me who is who. I think they probably find me quite irritating!

The positive thing about G.Horne is that you can play him from the bench as both a forward and 3/4 cover(possibly with shuffling needed).

At the moment we seem to be swapping like for like...
Hodgson for Fox, O'Hara for Vella, Withers for Fisher, Horne for Cook.

Change for changes sake seems pointless in one sense - but things had gone a bit stale. And there were calls for a clear-out. With not much on the market, like for like is about par. The only way the team will get better is if a group of players (Sheriff, Taylor, Cox, Watts) mature into top players in the next few years.
Fullback? A second wing for Colbon? A marquee forward to replace Clinton/Mason?

Not bothered about Fox leaving TBH (or Fisher/Murrell if they go), my concern is that the replacements muted are not much of improvements. Horne would not be an improvement on Cook (would be on Murrell if he plays loose) and Withers is about par with Fisher from what I have seen. The only thing I can think is that the new coach is already known and is indicating a change of playing styles.

Who will replace Fox, I would keep Colbon if there is nobody around thats better.

Admittedly I have not seen much of Clinton but I suppose I go on the reputation he had in the NRL..I guess times can change.

Fisher, is better than Tommy Lee surely?...anything is an improvement on him and Kieran Hyde!!

I like ben fisher he's just not quick enuf around the ruck but he can turn a game when he comes on, Ive been quite impressed when I have seen tommy Lee, don't know bout hyde, Clinton has been a big let down imo ok for eye candy but very expensive eye candy, it's like gonna pictures and buying they're sweets feel like you've been ripped off
