Kris keating has signed 3 year deal,he has obviously not spoken to hull fans who would have told him we will be going into administration and the championship next year.Good player,played in all canterburys games leading to and including last years grand final !

If you look for threads on Michael Dobson in the NRL before we signed him you'd have to look pretty hard, never classed as good enough. Think I'll make my judgement when he gets here.

KK played every (Or almost) every game including the GF IIRC last season. Dobbo struggled to get in the Canberra side before he came to us.
All things being equal KK should wipe the floor with MD. I know things are very rarely equal but you see the point. |

Okay, Hodkinson is narrowly ahead, but I think it is fair to say that opinion was split over who they wanted to partner Reynolds.
Realistically, what did people expect nowadays? I was comfortable with barely played first-grade Beau Henry. Keating is youngish, but experienced, and has a decent injury record so far as I can gather. Hodkinson might well be better, but he's done both shoulders and both knees, and the poor blighter was struggling to walk up stairs recently, until he had stem cell treatment. |

My point exactly,miller has come over to hull fc and done a decent job,and where was he last year when keating was on his way to a grand final,in wests reserve side.Lets face it last seasons grand final was a terrific game,and nobody said that keating or anybody looked out of place or had a bad game.The nrl is a mile in front of us whether we like it or not. |

Keating has played about 100 games of firstgrade and 2 reps games for City. He also played for Australian schoolboys.
He was pretty much the next big thing when he was at Parramatta but at the doggies he has struggled to find a regular spot in the side.
He is a nippy little guy who defends well above his weight.
I find it hard to imagine him in the halves with Burns because neither seem to be great organisers or playmakers.
Your defence should be good next year. Keating is a little terrier in defence (or am I thinking of his brother).
