I heard Benji Marshall has offered to come and play for Rovers in each derby game next year for expenses only, after hearing the news that Hull are after Rangi.
This being in order to continue their feud from the Eng v NZ game last season.

Ervan is a starting prop who was seen by most Knights fans as one of our top 2 or 3 forwards last season.
This season he was the first player dropped to reserve grade by incoming coach Wayne Bennett, and most fans were pretty surprized to see him dropped.
He is a solid prop who plays for 60 minutes a game and usually starts, and he also has a very handy offload.

Scott Taylor (or his dad apparently) has gone to the board to ask to buy out his contract. seems a bit far fetched to me but the guy generally is in the know. anyone else shed any light on this..............

Sandercock was offered a well paid position as junior development director. The position was eventually filled by second choice Graham Murray, a coach who has done it all in League.

Our pet billionaire played junior league in the Hunter valley, and he has a very strong focus on developing the junior squads. Sandercock was the guy who was going to redevelop junior systems for an area with a population of over a million where League is the number one sport by a very, very long way. The Knights were very interested in keeping him.

With Watts, Wheeldon and (likely) Clinton all leaving, bringing in 1 new prop seems sensible enough. We did have a surfeit at the start of the year, admittedly.
