It has always been so.

When I retire I am going to get a Donkey (rescued) and a Billy goat, and I am going to call them Donkey & Billy..I am undecided about getting a chicken, not sure if they bite tbh.

They don't bite, they don't have any teeth. They can be a bit pecky, you really need to get a minimum of three as they're social. Different breeds have slightly different characteristics.

Can't stand the little gits myself, annoying clucking little things and very stupid. Like smaller sheep, they're stupid to.

I'd quite like some cows, there's some beautiful calves around where I live at the moment. I'd have a few rare breed pigs as well, maybe Gloucester's or Saddlebacks. Good are pigs, clever. Make me own sausages then couldn't I. Yes I could.

I would hope that after spending time with us I hope it'll be the goat you name Donkey and the donkey will be called Billy.

I'd like to suggest Rimbaud for the chicken.

I've always thought Edwin was a good name for a chicken. I wanted to call the dog, (we no longer have) Colin or Barry but Mr Baldhead wouldn't let me.

She bought an indoor rabbit home once and called it Pig, I kid you not...Flippin thing was mad it used to box people!

He went to a lovely family in the end, (from the other forum). Not dog baiters, I know because it was the first question I asked, plus I checked for sovereign rings & swallow tatoos. They've been really nice actually, sent me loads of txts & pictures of him in his new home.

I used to keep Guinea pigs, great little pets.
Just reminded of the time in my younger days when i lived on Diadem, maisonettes. I had a black G-pig called mister and he'd been off colour for a couple of days. Anyway, come weekend i gave him some bread in warm milk which he had a bit of before i went out on the lash in Dolphin. Worse for wear on my return, i went to bed and took him out of his cage to see how he was (being the careing person i am,

i'd moved a small cage to bedroom for warmth). Being overserved i soon went to sleep.
On awakening the next morning i immediately remembered taking the pig out of his cage but not putting him back............. to my horror, there he was, resembling a beer mat from said pub........ gutted i was....

What a heart-wrenching story...

As a beer mat?.....didn't have the heart. Mind you, the hole i put him in my parents garden didn't have to be as deep as the others, a bit wider, but not as deep.

One of my mates who lived on Longhill used to have a rabbit, can't remember it's name but it was always escaping. Anyway, we went round to his house after IVth form and as we rounded the corner we saw his rabbit galloping around in the street, ah, cute.

At this point, a massive German Shepard came flying around the corner, snatched it up in it's mouth and ran off with it whilst ragging it from side to side.

He was quite upset.

I've only ever had a gold fish, deprived me. Used to be ice on the inside of me bedroom window when I were a kid. In June.

Aw that's awful my dog who was a fab scruffy dog only little but tuff as nails used to fight with rag and bone horses killed a cat in front of us it was awful the cat jumped on his back which pretty much narked my dog, my dad got rid of the dog he was 14 best dog ever I still blame the cat and funny my windows used to have ice on my windows had a coal fire to heat up full house kids don't know they're born these days.
