I wasn't overly impressed when we signed Horne but I thought he played well yesterday, especially in defence.

We looked good with ball in hand but our defence was poor at times especially down the wings.

All in all I'm quite optimistic this season, especially when we get Galea & Dobbo back.

Yes, distinctly under whelmed was my reaction upon signing Horne. However, I think he's played really well. Pretty solid defensively, knows where the try line is and his off load for Welham yesterday was excellent.

Could do with growing a moustache, but other than that a worthwhile acquisition.

Great game on sunday, i think a few fans though seem to forget how long Shannon McDonnell was out injured for and the lack of game time from last season ,agree his last line of defence is knowhere near as good as Briscoe, but the try he scored was class he will get better.Great team effort today lacking 2 halfbacks going 14-0 down and coming back into the game like we did, shows Sandercock has instilled believe into the side. I also like at half time the way the team go off as a team....More to come get over the injuries and a top 4 push is on, look at want Leeds did last season !!!!!! From where they where after 6 games written off and fans asking for the coaches head....

What a great game. I feel Saints are now suffering the consequences of losing Gidley, Cunningham and Graham in successive seasons.

If you compare player to player for last nights teams it's no surprise Saints got done - they have no where near the quality that the RL pundits talk about - it just isn't there IMO.

I was equally tempted to see how yellow giraffe was feeling after last nights match, fancy conceding 26 points in 15 minutes and 70 points in 160 minutes of rugby. They crowd wasn't laughing last night and were certainly unhappy with referee, but it's probably alright when the boots on the other foot. I also have to confess celebrating that last try and the conversion just to rub in the salt.
