Well I guess we have got to sign a second one to cover for the games the first one misses! Shame really with Briscoe, makes a big difference when he plays, but sadly doesn't play enough, which is no doubt why you let him go.

I think there are mixed views now at the Club as to what we should do with him next year, the optimists expect him to be a good as new for the start of the season, the pessimists think its time to say cheerio (albeit that might be expensive with him having another year to go).

The signing of McDonnell would have suggested that he might be eased out (perhaps we would sweeten the pill with a coaching role?). I suppose a lot will depend upon whether he can come back and get some game time this season.
