I keep getting drawn back to the fact that the consensus on here is that we will be up to the limit if we announce Paea or Mcdonnell (if Clinton stays), yet yesterday we had Mike Smith saying that we had 2 overseas players CV's arrive at the club, our new coach said that he would be discussing overseas targets when he arrives next week, plus we obviously have been talking to Adam Cuthburtson aswell if his agent is to be believed.
Either the club know something we dont regards some players not counting or Paea isnt the cert that we thought, and perhaps Clinton is going no matter what.
My biggest concern is that Mike Smith will have spent as much time in a confused state over this as i have today when he has a new stand to get built.

Kidwell was who I wanted originally because of his schooling under Craig Bellamy but at that time I had no idea who Sandercock was - let alone his credentials. FC will be stronger having got rid of Agar and when Pearson took over and Rovers without the "Morgan factor" I genuinely feared our dominance over your deluded club may be over but IMO Pearson has displayed his ignorance of RL and dropped a major clanger appointing a DOR who in recent times as a coach, has an appalling record in both in the NRL and the SL.

You may say Mcrea is only DOR but all the facts point to him being RL's "yesterday's man" backed up by the fact Matt Parish has slated the structures Mcrea set in place at Salford. In turn he's recruited a coach seemingly on the grounds that he shares the same agent; a coach with questionable credentials detailed and backed up in "Hull Neutral's" knowledgeable post on Gentle.

And besides, he isn't the coach at Hull FC, is he? His coaching isn't being questioned.

The RFL granted dispensation for Aaron Heremaia to be given Federation Trained Status due to the time he spent at Leigh prior to the February 2008 rule change.
I assume Micheal Dobson will be eligible for the same dispensation due to the time he spent at Wigan in 2006

Sorry ginge, but that's plain nonsense. Agar was given plenty of time and support by the vast majority of FC fans - indeed there were still some sad to see him go at the end. There were hardly any chants/banners at all and only in the last season at one or two matches.

Can't be ruled out as nobody seems to have any idea how Heremaia managed to qualify for a dispensation that was supposed to [iprevent[/i players having to leave UK clubs. Think the RFL have given up completely now and are just making things up as they go along.

I think it's clear there presently isn't enough British players of the right quality to go round the 14 clubs, hence the reason why clubs with the pedigree of Leeds (for example) are signing the likes of Richard Moore.

If we get slated, who cares? We just need to concentrate on the juniors we are starting to grow. This will get our numbers right over the next 2-3 seasons.
