Wingers are usually receiving assists rather than supplying them.

Surely this can only be measured by how many times you've been tackled, IE, if he's been tackled 117 times then it's bad, if only 17 times then it's good.

It's usually a wingers duty to recieve the ball and run the ball over the line, or to run onto "an attacking Kick" to score..

Thats why i didn't bother with those stats.

You have previously bumped up comments i made about Yeaman in 2006 when he was excellent.
Then you have bumped up subsequent posts from seasons 2007 - 2010 when he has been distinctly average and you stand them side by side and say i change tack because he has never signed for Rovers.

Bump up full topics rather then isolated quotes if thats what floats your boat as then the quotes are judged in the correct context and people can see when various quotes have been made.

If and a big if Craig stays, I would hope he would get a dual contract and ply his trade in NL1 to see if he can develop his game (mostly defence) and gain some confidence. The best I saw him was when he returned from Widnes last year, however the problem there was the whole team were poor so it did not give a full reflection imo.

You didn't rate Hall in the past and said Rovers never wanted him because he wasn't good enough. Since then he's stagnated at best. Would be most odd if your opinion of him has done a 180 in the "correct context" of your opinion of him not being good enough and having got worse, then. Still, it's all hypothetical. Isn't it?

If we have a shocking injury list like we have had this year then Hall is adequate cover providing he comes at the right price. He'd have to prove himself when given the chance

Always thought Craig would turn out to be 'the next big thing', but it just never happened, probably down to Agar and his classic coaching...Craig probably needs a fresh start and I hope who ever he goes to he steps up and proves the doubters wrong. Post quotes i have made regarding Hall and i will respond to them taking into account the date they were made.

The lad is actually the type of player i like, he excites crowds and can get you a match winning try.
However his body language in a Hull FC shirt is not right and if the small % of posters who use the Hull FC forum on this site represent the general opinion of him he needs to get out of the KC quick sharp.
Whether its the coaching at Hull that isnt helping him will remain to be seen if he joins another club.
His contact in Defense certainly needs work and also his decision making.
However i have seen several instances where he has been slated and tries have been conceded by Hull because he was left isolated.
Therefore it could simply be a confidence issue and again a fresh start for him is the answer.
It thats at Rovers he would start the season as 4th choice Centre, perhaps even 5th if Cockayne is playing well.
Morgan will make that decision.

Playing the devils advocate may i suggest you only moaned about Craig Hall a couple of weeks ago....













But other, more general moans have been throughout the season.

Conversely did you save the dates and threads from hull fans who have changed their minds ( nearly said as much as their underpants, until i realised we are talking of the great unwashed



) consistently over the season dependent on which media organisation has stated he will / will not be moving to Rovers.

IMO he is one of the most deadly attacking players in super league and one of the worst defensively and like my initial reaction when Rovers announced the signing of Josh Hodgson i was completely neutral.

Must add, since watching JH play i realise why Justin Morgan is a coach and i am not....the lad has been very good and has the potential to become a top class super league player.

I think it would be better for Craig if he went to another club rather than to us. As has been stated he would be at best 4th choice if not 5th choice centre and 3rd choice winger for us. Add to that he would be under scrutiny and pressure as he'd crossed the divide which he doesn't seem to handle to well.

I think for his career development he would be better plying his trade at somewhere like Cas / Wakey so it was a complete change of surroundings and somewhere he may get a better chance of 1st team rugby.

If you're talking about natural attacking rugby league ability, then Craig Hall is better than any centre currently playing for either Hull club, but unfortunately his defficiencies at this moment in time far outweigh the positives he brings to a team. where he needs to go to get better I don't know.
