Gentle is there with his manager 2/3 days after we sign our first recruits David Hodgeson aside.
If Gentle is there in the capacity it seems he is it's very likely he will have known about the signings we have made and the players that have left/been released and the signings are with his blessing.

Good work by Hudgell to get his man and sort it out quickly to have a joint effort on recruitment. Wouldn't have minded Gentle at Hull tbh.

I wouldn't rule Gentle out yet. But with all the fancy talk of 5 names on the shortlist and a trip to Australia to get his man, it has to be someone special, maybe more special than Gentle. Good to be on the front foot, unlike FC where the longest stay of execution in modern times is afforded to a coach unable to deliver a play-off win.
