The Monkeys DID work the clubs before their record deal they DID give away freebies to get publicity, Infact they were working the clubs in 2003 their record deal arrived in 2005 when they signed with Domino records.
I can't see any 'here have 3 months free publicity so you can have 1 hit and I can make more cash' hand out there.

Don't tell anyone Wormy but I've exchanged our passes today for West upper for the rest of the season. Numerous reasons and the vile fans are one, another is the [ustate of the female toilets within 10 mins[/u of the gates opening, an issue raised to the club only to get a "we apologise for the inconvenience caused during our stadium upgrades", theres alot more 'women' at the rugby these days and closing one of the female toilets, although unavoidable because of it's location, is a joke and one would think additional temporary toilets would have been put in place.

By the way I'm not female and I don't venture in for a sit down wee. If anyone notices me at Leeds they will see why the female toilets are an issue to 'us' (really big clue pmh, come say "Hi"icon_wink.gif.

One of the many reasons I won't frequent CP's South "Stand" is the non-existence of the girls' loos. There was a leaky two roomed shack with one door chained closed and the other "working" cubicle with no door at all. It wouldn't flush and you were dripped on (by, I hope, rain) as you poised, hopelessly clutching your bag in front of you in false modesty. By he end of the match, well, you can imagine...

I'd also warn your lass about the Leeds girls' loos - she may want to squeeze the last drop out in the pub beforehand.

For those thinking I may have defected, sadly not. West upper is lady speak for "those seats above the west stand (the well).

We've braved Headingley on many occasions Wormy, she knows what's ahead of her. The other reason was the standing up for 2 hours or so, in her current state She finds this hard (another clue), this is probably the main reason for relocating to the *cough* Roger Millward 'west upper'.

What amused me was I can imagine just how outraged you'd be. Even more so with it being Rovers fans.

Mrs MR proved beyond doubt that she is my soulmate by purchasing for me a Brajlovic Bosnian-Austrian Rinderwurst yesterday. I'll have some tonight with a bottle of Polish lager that will complement it wonderfully.

If I could just get her to accept that despite having a smallish frame, the fact that I'm fat (which definately has nothing to do with rinderwurst and lager, no siree) means that in t-shirt terms I am large, and that 'fitted' is not a good look for slightly chubby men in their mid-30s, she'd be perfect.

Or, alternatively, stop being such a ponce and buy your own clothes.

I'm assuming it's some sort of sausage?
