I'm saying I know we've signed Larroyer but not sure if that's the announcement tomorrow hope it's another player

It could be keiron Dixon but there are suggestions hull have stepped in for him as rovers have been dwelling on whether or not they take the punt on him. However if hull were to get Dixon instead of rovers Callum Lancaster could be on his way to rovers. I still think we'll get Dixon........

it could be kevin larroyer signing for kr, but who else is availble who are young up coming players in super league teams. any guess i bet tommy lee but who knows

Can't say I know a lot about Donaldson, I assume this is a direct replacement for Langley. Sounds as if he's a worker rather than a free scoring 2nd rower but hopefully he'll add some steel in the defensive line. Welcome aboard James.

Good lad is Donno. Was touted a as wonderkid when he first signed as a 17 year old. He looked like he was going to play for England until he got his firs cruciate knew ligament injury.

Came back a year later and couldn't quite cement his place back in team.

Got another cruciate ligament injury at beginning of 2012. Would have ended most players careers that. Looked real deal in pre-season as well. Had steady 2013, this season he has been one positive in a disappointing season. Defensively he is superb. Tackle technique spot on. Very little go forward, however I believe if he can get a couple more seasons under his belt, this will improve. He has big future ahead of him.

Had a message from a mate of mine who played and coached in the Newcastle competition and know our new Italian well. He tells me he matured late and was given the opportunity To join the Knights. Did not get that many first grade games but he tells me he is one of the best outside backs there is not playing regular NRL .
He is very good in the air very quick for a big guy and his goal kicking is superb, to top it all he is a good guy, not like some of the s we have had from down under .
Let's hope he does as well as my mate tells me he will

Cheers for that. I remember the Eddie's excitement on Sky when he (JD) broke into the team at 17. There's always that assumption that every early-developer will go on to be a great player, even though it doesn't always work out like that. We've been rumoured to be interested him once or twice before. He's a good age still and his hard work and sound tackling will be welcome additions - the bad injuries he's had are a concern, but yeah seems a steady signing.

Maybe we'll move Lovegrove up to prop again, given we've lost J. Walker and Poore's injury situation, depending on what that is? I thought Lovegrove was usually pretty effective coming off the bench and bringing a bit of energy to the front row. I guess Langley is less likely to be retained now though.

Seriously hope we're not in for Campese. Nothing like the player he was before his ACL injuries.

Why does the HDM continually report on who we have signed yet show a photo of a different player altogether?

Heard at the game last night that if burns goes we are in for Chris Sandow from paramatta but he is predominantly a scrum half so not sure what will happen with keating

First of all a rumour was started on the other forum in jest at us signing Sandow. I don't for one moment believe its true.

Secondly, Scrum Half and Stand off are pretty much the same role so it wouldn't affect Keating at all unless we could no longer afford him and had to ship him out.

Mantellato was a match winner again yesterday.
Knights played most of the game with 12 men after hooker Chad Redman was sent off for a high shot on Scott Dureau and Newtown scored 5 tries to the Knights 4, but in the tricky wind conditions Newtown were only able to kick 2 from 5, while Josh kicked 4/4 and Dobson 1/1 to give the Knights a 2 point win.
Josh is a great kicker in tricky conditions because he kicks the ball so hard that the wind conditions are largely nullified.
Knights NSW cup side finish the season in second place after winning 10 of their last 11. Josh is top point scorer by about 80 from the next best and is 5th highest try scorer.

Sounds good for super league lets hope he carry's on when he comes
