Frank Watene's shorts are too large. Nadal's too small. Do you have a particular recommendation? Cargo shorts with lots of pockets with birdseed? Lederhosen? Kevin Keegan-esque late 80s shiny blue viscose effort?

Ordered a pair of bargain Wales RU shorts not too long ago, had to return them though because despite been a comfy fit they were ridiculously short.

Shorts are a difficult look to pull off, unless you're Mark O'Meley doing lunges. Tall skinny men with pasty white legs should never attempt them. Being of a cetain age, I avoid them at all costs. Apart from when holidaying in the USA when a) relatively speaking I look svelte and on trend and b) no one knows me.

Last time I was in the US I was in vegas and there was a black woman who was as wide as she was tall.
My wife had to drag me off so shocked was I at seeing a 5'4ish woman that wide, Infact I would call it amazing (Not in a good way obviously).
