Fox is just out of form, but in fairness he has receives very little decent ball and defensively has had to endure a poorly structured set up and dreadful defending inside him. On top of this he should be playing on the left side. Colbon is now back to full fitness and it was noticeable how natural playing on the right was to him on Sunday and for me is a must signing for next season providing he stays injury free for the rest of this one. Cockayne and Latus are currently providing cover.

There will be need for cover next season as Cockayne will be getting the No.1 shirt, so as wing cover i would go for someone like Luke George or Aaron Murphy at Wakey, should they get relegated, who both have their best years ahead of them.

Rovers wont sack Morgan now. I do expect both parties to reach an amicable agreement regards his departure at the end of the season though with John Kear taking over.
It does make me wonder who is in charge of recruitment for next season though in that scenario. Perhaps if we sign a couple of Wakey players it may give us a clue.

John Kear is one of the nicest men I have encountered in RL.., I also rate him as a coach and I was gutted we sacked him...Top Bloke, I am envious.

According to Wakefield posters that I read a while ago, they reckon he coaches stifingly boring game plans and they have been disgruntled with him. I thought it was surprising, but I'd rather have Morgan than Kear, definately.

TBF though Kear's record of achievements are a lot better than Morgans..Plus I would not take too much about those comments, when we had him we played some fantastic expansive rugby, you have to remember Kear lost Broughy the main game player. With Dobbo & Green I expect Kear will encourage champagne rugby..Plus he is the master at knock out rugby who knows you may get some sliverware in that trophy cabinet

When we went to Donny for our semi-final C/Cup match my young one and his mates wanted their photos with the coaches etc...We approached and a steward ushered us away, Kear said shut up daft lad

and posed with the lads for their photo even though we was then the opposition.

I like John kear a lot but what I can't get my head around is why would Wigan take on a coach whose team is playing cr@p at the minute, it just doesn't make sense.

Maybe they have taken into account other factors...One thing is for sure Morgan certainly knows how to talk the talk so should have had a cracking interview

Wouldn't bother me too much TBH, so long as he is replaced with a decent coach. He has been here a long time in coaching terms and perhaps a new challenge would benefit him and Rovers. My only concern is if he came and poached our better players like Newton, Green, Dobbo and the young kids.
