He's been linked to us loads of times in the past year or so and I'd be over the moon if we got him. It's highly unlikely though as he's contracted to hudds for next season. Excellent player though.

I think the key to his improvement has been the removal of Sharp, I think Brown is doing a great job for you. |

He is capable of more, it's just we have Mason having the season of his life and when he's not conceding penalties (which he's improved on a great deal this year) he is an absolute animal. 2 hits ups per set when we have the ball and a monster in defence as well. But he's not going to break the line or offload like Crabtree is. It gives Eorl the opportunity to really have a blart and Griff as well. |

Personally, I think Rovers should look closely at Heath L'Estrange of the Manly Sea Eagles.
He is a very good interchangeable hooker and I feel him and Fisher would work well. He controlled the game against Leeds in the recent World Club Challenge and as far I know, and according to this link:

Worth a punt because I feel we need a top class hooker to make that 'step-up'. It would be at the expense of Fitzhenry I would feel, incidentally I didn't think he had a bad game at all last night.
The main problem obviously I can see is the overseas quota and the need to get it down, and Morgan stating he wants to look at homegrown talent which is fair enough.

on this thread i have always rated crabtree, he's a beast and good offloader, always thought his only weakness is a lack of nastyness, but sorted fozz so who knows, might be gettin a mean streak |
