| Unbelievable high drama but thoroughly deserved by City's owner, Steve Bruce and his backroom staff, the team, and last but not least the supporters.

Are you just ignoring the fact about the young keeper having to play in circumstances that happen once in a lifetime, him coming on and gifting leeds 2 goals are the reason city fortunately IMO went up.

Only in the same way you're ignoring the rest of the season.
The second goal only cost them a draw, which wasn't enough and I haven't seen the first. City had to play a chunk of their season without their best strikers available, and that penalty for Cardiff - probably correct, but I've definitely seen them not given. To reduce the season's narrative to that one issue isn't fair or realistic, IMO.
The sending off likely cost Watford more than the keeper change - the delay for the injury was potentially helpful to them, remember.

You know absolutely nothing what you are talking about.
Do you think City would have been struggling to get over the line if the best striker (and player) in the Championship in Aluko hadn't have been ruled out for the season since December? Or the fact a proven Championship striker in Fryatt was ruled out for the season very early on? Or Joe Dudgeon hadn't also been ruled out very early on?
To be brutally honest both Rugby League club's could take a leaf out of City's book because with the injuries they've suffered during the season - particularly to their two main goal scorers, they had every reason to give up a long time ago but they chose not to and got the job done in the face of incredible adversity.
Hull City did it the hard way and are a credit to the city and area.
As far as the city's sporting climate goes now, we're approaching a massive shortfall in maintenance costs of the KC so the current status quo cannot continue because it is not viable to have a private company make up the short fall of a public facility; it has to be one of the two following scenarios:-
1) [uPublic [/ufacility maintained with [upublic[/u money (not going to happen for obvious reasons)
2) Private facility maintained with private money (only a matter of time)
The Allam's gun has been cocked for a long time, but as of the full-time whistle at Watford yesterday, that gun has now been loaded and it's only a matter of time before the trigger is pulled.
No matter what way you dress it up, something [ihas[/i to give...

First issue then, would be to have an independent SMC. Lets give that a go, let the independent SMC run the stadium.
As much as you wish it, FC are not getting thrown out short term. Long term, who knows, but you and I both know Hull City will stay in the premier league for 2 seasons at best. They have as many fickle fans as both RL clubs, and second season in the premier league there will be 20k in the stadium again. i.e. No point ploughing upwards of £60m on something that is not required. It would be rather like you building something based on the fiction of having a core support base in excess of 8000.

Whether the SMC is run publicly, privately associated or privately independent, the age of the stadium means that it will incur loses which means in effect, the SMC is not a viable company.
And it's not about gates, the Allams want the stadium and they're going to get it whether you like it or not.
The Johnny Whitely picture gate was simply the first move of a pawn a game of chess with the council and now it's fast approaching checkmate...

Allam has Hull FC at Check mate? Maybe Czech Mate. I would be more worried about him demanding his £1m from you eh, after all he has to cover the "losses" from the SMC

| I can't see the Allams removing FC if he gets the stadium.
But he could making playing at the KC rather expensive.
Everybody fell for the John Whiteley fiasco. And all the fuss that the FC fans kicked up gave Dr Allam the chance he was looking for to expose what was really going on
At the KC. Subsidised to the tune of £300,000 and a guaranteed 1,500 tickets bought by the SMC.
If I were the Allams I would threaten to hand the SMC back to the council.
I doubt that they would want to take control of it.

So now that it's quite clear I've won this debate, you chose to mention Dr Allam's loan to us - a 3rd of which has already been repaid.
Anyway, back on topic.
Are there any decent boozers around Costello? Darleys is near there isn't it?

And when that happens Pearson will bail out - believe me. I have a close friend with close ties to the most private of conversations at FC.

Already happened at which point the council then unsurprisingly backed-off. [urlhttp://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/Allams-say-council-KC-Stadium-wake-Hull-FC/story-18155255-detail/story.html#axzz2SKotg1gr[/url
The Allams have played the role of "counter puncher", punishing their over-emotional, under-skilled and under-resourced slugger of an opponent with consummate ease and the knock-out blow is coming very soon...

How is posting pictures of an athletics stadium anywhere near on topic?
I'll take your word on the repayments of loans, as I would have no idea, but I trust you deeply.
As regards allam's claims re the SMC, and rugby related losses, I believe that needs to be proven. There is absolutely no evidence to support any of your claims, or fantasies I would think fits best.
I would think you should concentrate your efforts on bucket collections, otherwise you will be praying to see your club play anywhere at all, even at Costello stadium. Only problem with Costello is appears to be red, not blue.

| Didn't the mods say that once it started to about Hull, by the predictable obsessed about hull Zod, then it would locked?
The last time city went up we had the same threads on both forums and guess what nothing happened, it will be the same again, just hope city stay up for longer this time.
Zod has proven time and time again to be full of rubbish, he usually goes missing like last season, when hull do better than rovers, I do wonder if he believes what he writes.
