With the exception of Allam I really don;t see anyone wanting to invest in the Hull area who has 'big money'. The best we could hope for is a Pearson type person who wants to be in sport and has a enough cash to make us secure and with a chance of improvement.

You'd hope for a McManus, Koukash, Moran or Davy, but a Glover or Khan would be fine (ideally avoiding a newco though).

We're not, in relative terms, a complete basket case like Salford or London (no offence intended and both of those huge [ipotential[/i), and with the prospect of possibly working alongside the current board, if they feel resources would then match their ambition, means it wouldn't necessarily take huge sums.

Very good news for Rovers. Hudgell was very clear he wouldn't continue on for Rovers to remain at the same level, so looks like a pretty hefty commitment from the new investors to deliver on his ambition to be the best in the competition.
