I'll hold me hand up too, I've slated him in the past, even started the Sandercock out thread, but I recognise that fact he's hard a hard start to his coaching career, injuries to key players, a small squad compared to a lot of others, hopefully help learn from mistakes he's made and keep on improving,

He has done well with what he has had to deal with, when he has had a near enough full strength squad to choose from we have been good, the defence is steadily improving the attack is better than i have seen for a while. In saying that the next few fixtures will test our squad and CS ability as coach playing arguably the top 4/5 clubs. I think Hudge will give him a new deal as changing it just seems like a backward step to square one!

It's great to see so many positives about sandercock there's just sumet about him and I don't mean in that way I think he's a genuinely nice guy ano he's been slated for whinging but gentle has now inherited that, lets see what the next few games bring il be chuffed if he gets another deal, our attack has improved so much it's brill, fan dabby doozie

Has anyone considered whether or not Craig Sandercock wants to extend his contract?

IMO he has grown into the job and even though it has taken time he is red'n'white thro and thro. For me he is the man to lead Rovers forward. He has assembled a squad full of potential and I want to see him given the time and space to develop it.

McNamara would be a step back IMO. Also, there are a few players here who only came BECAUSE of Sandercock, Paterson and Burns are two and I doubt would stay if Sandercock was shown the door.

Give him another two seasons and bring in a specialist coach to deal with defence.

I don't know think the last game proves we can defend when we want to albeit a very poor FC side I wud also like to see sandercock stay as rovers coach as I think hel just get better and better

Saying that a performance against us proves you can defend is like saying that lack of little green men at craven park proves it is safe from alien attack

At the risk of sounding like a "short term fix" kinda bloke, if anyone thinks today is acceptable under any circumstances, then they need their heads examining.

I'd suggest you could write an excellent thesis given the depth of your understanding, but there's no need when you articulate all the key points in concise and eloquent fashion. A question. What's the opposite of crack-papering? I'd suggest it was in evidence twice today, once at Craven Park (or 18 times), once at Belle Vue where I had the great pleasure of standing directly behind Tickle's lovely buns as prepared for yet another conversion and his shorts material strained a bit.
