Yep. It's horrible when it is your team, but it's part and parcel of the game. In my, admittedly biassed opinion you'd expect Horne's 'try' to be given 3 times out of 4, but then Dobson's in Manchester is the sort of thing you only see a handful of times in a season. Leeds got one against us in 2007, I remember - though we went on to win, which takes the sting out.

Watts' try vs Cas against was lucky but legit IMO, btw - Quins got a similar one in a televised game against Hull soon after, but because it was a late consolation nobody really cared.

It was a clear try from 2 camera angles and iffy from one. It should be awarded. No different to Tubbs' grounding really.

to be fair we shouldnt have needed decisions from the VR to win it we had enough possesion to have had the game won at half time and some decisions you get some you dont it all evens itself out in the end no complaints from me

I don't believe he did, as 'dropped' is normally defined in that context. But it's gone and I've seen plenty of worse decisions.
For balance we got a try off a clear double movement against Wigan - and I regularly say 'WTF?' following VR decisions watching as a neutral. A lot of these things are very fine margins, and the official's opinion is the only one that matters.

Well for a neutral (or as neutral as an FC fan can be), I thought both teams gave as good a performance as they could in absolutely apalling conditions. As Dureau said at the end the ball was like a bar of soap.
