My worry is that cas are due a performance and a win. after our efforts last week i worry we relax a bit and get caught cold.

I feel exactly the same. Lets hope the gaffer has the team focussed & fired up. We can't keep "bouncing back", its time to start performing week after week.

I'm as confident as I can be in a Rovers win, if our pack fires I think we'll have too much for them, this does however hang on whether our defensive performance is like the last sixty minutes against Huddersfield or the last sixty minutes against Bradford.

I saw some naff stats on Boots n All last night (Clarkey the geek) showing Rovers n Cas as the worst 2 sides for conceding late tries. I would suggest nobody leaves early!

I know what you mean. He analysed the stats from the Pies/Wire game and was genuinely afronted that Wire managed to win despite all the stats showing Wigan dominated. Guess what, that's sport for you, and the reason why his margin-meter should also be shoved up his 'arris.

I very rarely watch B&A these days but did tune in this week, I say bring back Paul Cullen to give the match analysis. The more and more I hear of Phil Clarke the more I think he should give in!!!

Notice that they had Hudds down as scoring 0 tries in the last 50 minutes, which was a glaring error. Okay you might not be bang on for ptbs or tackles, but tries - surely not that hard.

I like stats, and I quite like Clarke (unless Wigan are playing, and even then I can empathise) - but in moderation.

I love his margin-o-meter or the No-Sheet-Sherlock-o-meter as I prefer to call it. It basically looks at whos on top and tells you they should win. The only time its right is 0.5 of a second before the final hooter. completely pointless.

I do quite like clarky tho', he's a biased idiot but aren't we all where the game is concerned.

Clarke has gone from being a decent ex-player with an insight into the game, to being a techno-geek. He's a dressing gown short of becoming Angus Loughran. I cringe every time he goes near the microphone.

The error on the tries stat makes me question all the stats used in the programme.

Difference is, he's well paid not to be.

The thing is he's not a techno geek, he's more like my dad trying to work out how to use his mobile phone. Got all the gear but no clue.

IIRC, we're something like 6 from 27, the last time we won at home was in early July and we're still waiting for the backlash from every tonking since. Rovers with a fair bit to spare.

Starnge half. Rovers totally dominant in field positon and posession for 30 mins, but poor finishing combined with some poor dicipline and defence sound to have cost Rovers.

Another two points thrown away after dominating the early part of the game, Warrington, Saints, Bradford, Catalans and now Castleford. Just not good enough.

No Defence,Can we have a coach who can improve our defence because until that happens we are not going to get anywhere.Mr Sandercock talks a lot of sense but defensively we are no better than we were last season.Not enough experience for me.

Maybe the players simply aren't good enough?
