No mention though of loss of form , lack of confidence and players being singled for barracking and abuse from the supporters which were also contributory factors to another poor season for Hull.

Majority of the letters sent in are intended only to prokoke this such response.

People really do overestimate how difficult it is.

I remembered Rule got a right pasting for falling out with RH over Reardon - one Rovers fan even took the time to do a Photoshop of Rule in a nappy spitting his dummy. The Letters Page in the HDM is a different scenario to the papers journalists reporting on issues.

Perhaps Mrs B could post a link stating Rovers are not co-operating / talking to the HDM and their Hull supporting editor.

I don'y have one. It is, of course, perfectly normal that the only Rovers related article in the HDM since Christmas Eve is Cooke (who's being offered to other clubs) lavishing praise on Richard Horne. Oh, and Chris Thorman's comments on a friendly. In the meantime the HDM are bigging up everything FC related from the "luxury" training camp to "best ever pre season" to merchandise sales. You can see how people put two and two together and come up with four.

Or it could be that there is no real news to report on Rovers and the news on Hull is just the usual pre season bull to boost pass and merchandise sales, but i can see how you would conveniently overlook this possibility.

Most of the stories are really 'non stories' and are just a way of padding out the newspaper a bit.

After having a quick shufty at my Mum's HDM (not a euphamism for the filth of mind) whilst round at hers over Christmas and it would appear that this applies to the whole newspaper.

It really is shizzle, why does anyone buy this cack never mind going to the trouble of writing in?

Scrunched up newspaper is still one of the best ways to dry out wellies , so until something better comes along on the boot drying front there will always be a demand.

Had a phone call off the person who wrote the letter in question today.

He is absolutely delighted at the response he has recieved on this website.
