I am not, but when the threads become 20 pages of poison it makes you wonder. I don't like FC, but have always maintained my ideal RL world would be Rovers and FC top 2 (in that order of course), because its great having two top sides (hurry up, we are waiting

I also remember when we got promoted, the eight easy points crap and the 'Leeds are our main rivals' jibes. It all just smacked of bile and hatred towards us.

See the post above by GG. There is 'bile and hatred' going between both clubs from both sets of fans however this shouldnt be the case from respective CEO's I think was the original point.

When, I have spent hundreds of nights in the pub and casino with Neil, even when FC fans have a pop he just ignores them, the over used term 'irony' really does apply here, critsizing someone for alledgedly doing the same.

His only offence is that he's made Rovers into a better team than Hull.

The relative status of the two clubs and its rapid change has almost inevitably strained relations.

Imagine you work for ten years for a boss who, in your view, is always talking down to you, patronising you and belittling you. One day you find you've been promoted and now you are the boss. It is going to be very tempting to repay him in kind.

Or, trying to empathise with their RL worldview.

You've worked hard to pull yourself up my the bootstraps, earn yourself a break and become the boss. You've got a snotty little trainee working for you - he's useless but he at least reminds you that things could be worse. Then one day the f'ing trainee is promoted over your head and starts lording it about like he's something special - you are bound to resent it.

Still it isn't Rangers-Celtic at least, is it?

It must be gospel if its posted on here even though 99% of people off these forums dont even see Neil Hudgell in a pub.
Only one thing really stands out to me and thats when he told Hull to 'Put Up or Shut Up' over the Paul Cooke signing.
Perfectly within his rights do have done so as Rule was making various comments in the local media.
The only real time he refers to Hull FC in interviews is when he points out that young up and coming players now have an option at Rovers whereas Hull did have open season on all the top talent.
Its down to rivalry pure and simple with the things he has supposedly said or done simply not existing.

Whilst FC had bragging rights being 'THE premier Rugby League Club in the city for years it was OK for them to dumb us down and to be fair we probably deserved it.

Following the successful transformation of Rovers under Neil's astute guidance I suspect the main issue for FC fans about HKR now is making a negative out of everything Rovers say and do!

Suppose this is the rivals thing.

To be fair to Rovers fans, it's not surprising that there's hatred and bile directed towards Hull and their fans as most of them are a right set of tw@s.
