Aside fom the 'debate' about Mrs B's qualifications , the crowd at wakefield was pretty poor.
A small number of Catalans supporters did make it , but the home support was not there.
Stevo and his sidekick were trying to 'big up' the occasion of it being knock-out rugby but failed IMO.
The crowd I suppose does reflect the general attitude to KO rugby , especailly at the earier stages. The CC attendances only showed some marked improvement with the discounted ticketing offers.
Stevo and Eddie remind me of that pair in Mad Max 3 - Thunderdome - the little annoying guy on the big blokes shoulders.

Most clubs do a good job nowadays of marketing season tickets and this results in good attendances for regular Super League games.
When the passholders have to pay out for extra games like Challenge Cup and play offs many seem to not bother.
It's disappointing but seems to be the way of things.
