Where does it say that? If it's true that there's a +24% increase in the season ticket price unless you sign up for the membership scheme, surely that should be communicated. BTW, we hear endlessly that Rovers consult their fans on all important matters - strange that this major initiative seems to be news to all.

If it's just to pay for the stand extension then why the rush to bring it in? Are they already digging the footings or something? Why not just put up pass prices, explain to the fans why then let them pay for it over the next few months. Plus if it's to fund the extension then I'd assume that rovers will reduce pass prices back down when the stand is paid for and they go back to normal operations. or is this a way of trying to cut the losses the club has been making in the last few years?

Can't help thinking if the boot were on the other foot, Rovers fans would be having a right laugh at Rule for fleecing us of £60 with no clearly defined financial benefits, rushing it through without giving people time to reflect and not consulting the fans before launching the scheme.



Rovers success of recent years has been founded on its sense of "family", involving the RSG etc. Now you're allegedly putting up prices by 24% for those that don't stump up the cash now and creating a two tier fanbase. Probably the right thing to do from a financial perspective, but engaging with the fans has been about as effective as Hull FC's approach.

My own opinion is that you cannot have an opinion, until you know what you get for the £60. That said, it sounds a bit desperate, but I guess I am looking through black and white glasses!

So season passholders are "just fans buying tickets", Club Rovers members "get even closer to the team". Membership is "all-encompassing" and for your £60 "you more than get it back in value". And people think Rule take ages to say absolutely nothing and apply spin. What exactly do you get for £60 again?

It sounds desperate even if you are a Rovers fan, I have read that thing 3 times and still cannot find £60 worth of value, nor do I think many other people will when there are people out of work and struggling to make ends meet.
