I was one of the few if only FC supporter who wished you good lcuk today.
It was an enthralling match to watch and no matter who won during golden point it was always going to be a harsh defeat for whoever lost.

I don't like it and much prefer proper extra time to sort a game out.

Wire did go down field and kick the winning DG after it though.

Regardless of whether the Golden Point rule is right to sort out a game, you have to think about the players.

Yesterday was so hot and both sets of players were wiped out and having a further 10mins each way with a game totaling 100mins of Rugby League in those conditions would be dangerous IMO.

At the end of the day the amount of defending we did early on took it's tool in the end yet it's something that the team have been able to overcome in matches so far this season but yesterdays hot conditions made it a totally different ball game and the early defending was amplified more than it would have been in cooler conditions.

I don't think there was much between the sides and a draw was the fair result really.

There must have been a coin thrown to decide who kicks off?

At least the game didn't finish with one team dropping a goal before the other had even had the ball.

It's a poor way to decide a cup game. Golden Try would make more sense, but I still think it should be a last resort after 20 minutes of extra time.

Yes, when he was laid on the floor after the first assault, the guy was totally defenceless. Cockayne even had to lift his head by the hair to make sure he could kick him properly.

I suggest you read the posts from a forum member who lives in the area and commented on this guys reputation and his penache for beating girlfriends up....
