He's been charged with a Grade D with no EPG available (it isn't available for a Grade D, as we found with Meli). That's between 3 and 5 matches, I think.

I'm sorry that Green got hurt but now I've seen the incident I think Paterson's been very unlucky. He leans in to make the tackle & turns his head away just before contact. In that split second Green releases the ball (it's only gone about a metre when he's hit) & ducks slightly as he's passing. If he'd stayed upright it probably wouldn't have been high. Careless maybe but I don't think there was much intent in that.

a little harsh imo. just seen it on hkr tv, although the camera angle wasn't great i don't think it was in the same league as meli on hall. injured anyway, will be a big miss to the side.

So Patterson gets injured lamping Green and Meli gets injured lamping Hall.

There's surely a case for players playing within the spirit of the game, if for no other reason then they're more likely to injure themselves these days.
