IF this is true then I can see where its coming from. If Cookie continually fails to 'follow the script' then what should Morgan do but give him a b*ll*cking. Regardless of if he played well in that particular game you can't have a player diregarding the coaches wishes.

I agree to some extent if this is true. However, you've also got to question Morgans gameplan if he stifles Cooke's natural ability haven't you?

How's about this for a conspiracy theory!? Maybe Cooke isn't going on loan but is ending his contract with rovers, given Rovers settle for the amount it would of cost them to pay a percentage of his wages while on loan. Rovers are stalling it as this would mean he would of definitely played on Friday.

Just an idea, and the way this has been dragged out and the "you never know with Cookie" element it's seems plausable.

Realise he probably doesn't read RLFans, but just want to thank Paul for his contributions to the club over the last three years. Whilst it wasn't what it had the potential to be, he has nonetheless played a significant part in the club's growth, and most importantly IMO was (I feel) the key factor in our 2007 SL survivial, which ultimately went a long way to helping secure the club a franchise.
Personally I feel he's been made a scapegoat too often, and clearly there are personality clashes there which apparantly have not been workable, but I think he should be praised for what he did for the club particularly in the earlier days of his Rovers tenure, and best wishes with the rest of his career.
