You probably missed Ben Gallea more than we missed or absentees. Thought Dobbo was going to be our undoing again today but we came through. Scoreline didn't reflect the tough game.

A big thank you to all the HKR fans today. The applause you gave to the Wigan team at the end of the game was superb. It was great day out (and my birthday)

I can only echo what other Wigan fans have posted. A thoroughly enjoyable day sat with a bunch of very friendly KR fans. By far my favourite away trip, mainly because of your fans - you're a credit to RL!

i said to my mate during the game if charnley aint in our first choice 17 next year can you take him on a week by week. He Loves it at you guys, Your a great bunch and every time I come to HKR all I have is praise for you!

Thanks to all at Hull KR I just love the City Mike and Linda from the Rovers and Dod Brian Roy and Pat from the Black and Whites and i know that other Wiganers are visiting friends in Hull who they met on the Aussie tours, truly a Rugby League family

Wigan were excellent today, the team and the fans, who became the only team this season to bring more than we have taken away to the corresponding fixture. Well done lads, on that showing I expect you to go on and win the Grand Final.

After the NL1 Grand Final when Rovers secured promotion just before Webster lifted the trophy, Hemmings said about having two Hull clubs in the Super League wasn't what the competition was about. I cant remember the actual wording but I dont know what more the Super League is about than two teams that are competative, supported home and away in large numbers and always create a talking point in the national press!

Must also just say I was quite jealous when I saw the Wigan fans dancing around in front of a camera as they were on their way out of the ground. Just hope one day I have the chance to be this happy!

It would be worrying if in fact anybody gave a flying f*** what Hemmings thought.

Don't want to upset the love fest on here but i think the applause from the Rovers fans was for Rhys Lovegrove as he accepting his players player of the year award at the very same time the Wigan players were doing their lap of honour.



As for Charnley, had his try been the winning score i think the response would have been quite different

I dont agree with that, the majority of fans were clapping Charnley and Wigan leaving Rhys to collect it without most of the East stand knowing what was happening.

Agree about if Charnley scored the winning try though!

Harsh, but going by the people who stand around me on a weekly basis possibly fair.

People where applauding Wigan before Rhys was even announced. I know i was certainly applauding the Wigan side as they walked past. When Rhys was announced I kept on applauding. Felt that the Rhys thing could have waited. Even felt Rovers could have acknowleged Wigan winning the league in an official capacity over the tannoy system.

I said this at the time, there should have IMO been a bigger deal made about the fact they had just won the league.
