From a financial point of view, the only difference between winning and losing in a cup final is the actual prize money (all merchandising etc is completed prior to the event) so depending upon the level of bonus to be paid then yeah. Check it out with Mike Smith, he could use his vast experience of managing HKRCVA final appearances to put you right.......oh hang on though!!!!

And they never will! We have, on average reached a major final every 2 years since 2005 and will continue to do so. Hudge will finally have to admit at the end of next season that this Rovers lark has been an expensive folly for him and his mate and pull out (this season is the last throw of the dice for him). Seven years is a long time with nothing to celebrate for putting in £1,500,00 of your own personal money.  |

Er, the culture, status and success (or lack of) of the club at the point of Mr Pearson taking over. An earlier poster stated that a losing cup final appearance would be deemed as progress for HKRCVA, I BEL13VE it is progress for the Pearson regime. |

No it isn't
We are not down 2000 in 2 seasons.
You stated that everything was better under Pearson
Since he took over you have lost £750,000 in 2 seasons
And a £750,000 tax bill.
Plus 2000 less fans attending and the usual scrap for 7th or 8th
This years final appearance will go someway to paying even bigger losses this season.
Smaller crowds and £5 entry for every other game |
