Still can't believe we play Hull in nine weeks and we can't be in a position to open for the derby.

From inside the ground it doesn't seem that far from completion, is there a lot left to do internally? Does the office space have to be signed off before we can use the stand?

It's safety certificates, the hand over is 9th September, even if we managed to finish it there is all the gas testing, heating and generally all of the appliance testing, even the club and caterers know that it makes sense not to rush into the opening without dry runs.

The blue rooms are nearing completion as are the boxes and the upper offices but, the space under the stand is still far from completion, people will be stunned at the size of the area under the stand, but impressed. and don't forget the decorators need to do their stuff.

The 9th is the Monday. Why can't they sign if off on Friday 6th. We play London at home on the 8th and we could give the stand a grand opening? It's only 3 days and TBH they'll hardly be working on the Saturday or Sunday.

Guessing under the stand we have proper catering outlets for the spectators using that stand?

Why is it not possible to open the seated area NOW as a 'temporary' stand?

Surely, it can be organised to cordon off the NO GO areas (extra stewarding), rent 4 portaloos, and put a Greasy Joe near an entrance. Its not rocket science. . .is it?

I am. I have worked on my tools and now as a professional consultant and I have worked on many projects that have been partially handed over while construction continues, some of them residential apartment blocks. There is no reason why the seating areas cannot be handed over if the access to the other facilities is cordoned off correctly. The main issue would be toilet facilities, but this can be satisfied with mobile units on a temporary basis.

I think the main reason it is not being considered is that the costs may outweigh the benefits.

Bit disappointed with the "o", the thickness of the top and bottom being one seat doesn't match the rest of the letters where they are two seats thick, same with the "s", the "v" is crap too.
