I truly believe we should get Campo fit and wrap him in cotton wool until the middle 8's. If we then get 4 games out of him it should be enough. He's too much of a class act to 'bin off' as some are suggesting

Quietish, took on the line a little more and kicked well when asked to, defensively pretty decent. I think if we stick with him he may develop into a fairly competent half, not sure that's enough though. In the 19's he bossed quite a few games, he needs more belief in himself. The pace of the game from him playing in The Championship is something he's struggling to adapt to, he looks a bit frightened to try things and is just sticking to set plays.

For the haters, Tilse was very good tonight, put his hand up to to a lot of work in both attack and defence.

I was delighted to see Dixon scorch away after just dropping a fairly standard kick under no pressure, I thought over the full run to the line Hardaker might run him down but luckily, he couldn't be bothered and gave up.

After tonight’s events regarding Campo and previous events regarding the fat and oh so convenient injury prone Kelly, I think that Marsh and Blair are our best half back combination to see us through the season ……Marsh is getting better game by game and his confidence is growing, and after Webster told Blair to use his best abilities within the halves by attacking the line (to which Maurice has been our stand player within the previous games by doing so), I would much rather see out the season with Marsh and Blair in the halves and bin the injury prone and those who don’t have passion and couldn’t care less regarding the rest of the season

Great effort and result. Forwards were good. Walker Greenwood Allgood Tilse all excellent. Lunt was the best player on the pitch.

Dixon's Rovers career in a nutshell. His confidence under the kick was awful and Sinfield would have made his evening into a nightmare. His try was breath taking. So very fast. Left Watkins and Hardaker. Ran Hardaker down to on a break away.
Leeds are a rabble. Rudderless.
Campese has injured his hamstring (they don't think he's pulled it,less than a month they hope). Kelly his back and ribs (2weeks) Minns is back in training. All according to Webster.
Campese could play into his late 30s, he doesn't rely on pace. He was going to get complications after the knee op. It's not uncommon, just disappointing. If we get half a season out of him this year we'll go well.

You've got to feel for the guy, he makes Adam Dykes seem like Iron Man. You have to take real confidence from the fact you've performed so well over Easter without him. I still expect you to be in the middle 8's with or without him, but I think this week will give you confidence that you will be okay whether he's there or not. There was almost too much emphasis on "we'll be okay when Campo's back" and you get the feeling the players were starting to think they couldn't get a result without him.

All clubs take a risk with signing players like campese. We've signed plenty. Shame but hes had his day. Said at the beginning of the season you would have new halfbacks next year maybe this and I was shot down . Let's see eh

I don't think the players thought that at all simply because we've played that long without him and played well Kelly was more important last season and imo Blair is a lot ore important this season
