Got into loads of bother last night for extreme snoring.

Ms. pmh woke me up to say I was snoring. "No I wasn't", I self righteously replied. "Yes you were, it's taken me five minutes to drag the curtains from down your throat, it sounded like two rhinoceroses dancing in a massive bag of crisps", replied the miffed Ms. pmh.

Erm.....Ok

This week is going to go on forever.

Five day week? Disgraceful.

Gonna take some getting used to. Not as much as aloo, keema and innit being legal words in scrabble though.

I'd work 4 days for 80% pay if I could. Three others do that and we can employ another on a 4 day week, lowering unemployment. They don't want that though - workers' fear, not hope, is the great capitalist motivator. Not that I'm a worker. I'm middle class - me mum says, innit?

I [icould[/i do compressed hours if I wanted and have every other Friday off. I would then have to get up earlier and Ms. pmh would leave me a massive list of jobs to do which I would have to frantically run around and do starting at about four o'clock.

All hospital therapy departments are staffed by idiots. This is a universal truth.

I have plenty of experience of this. Years ago I had a shift based job and would often have days in the week off. It's amazing what a passable job of cleaning the whole house, cutting the lawn and making dinner you can do when you've spent the whole day winning The Champions League on Pro Evolution Soccer and the pressures on!

Isn't it just! Mrs MR has a habit of giving vague eta's and/or arriving ahead of schedule. 'Well, why didn't do it all before you started messing about?' she says...

My wife has just read this conversation over my shoulder.
Her reaction was 'You do that!'.
My reaction was 'See we are all like it I can't help it so that means you can't get annoyed anymore'.
I won't/can't repeat her answer.

Christ, this is turning into "Therapy Thread". I also have this issue. Just accept you're wrong, it's for the best.

Make dinner as soon as you get in, they'll rock up at seven thirty. Have a little read of your book, in they stroll with a "where's my fecking dinner death stare" without even so much as a Scarborough warning phone call.

Good point, hadn't thought that through. It has reminded me to go to book a dentists appointment to get my serrations checked.

People at work have been grassing me up to The Big Boss for smoking too much. Like being at blooming school! I have about three or four a day and never take a dinner hour.

I do however spend sixty four hours a day on here.

Wonder if the fox population in Hull is somehow declining - used to see 3 or 4 driving home at 2am but only seen the odd one lately.

Often in the gardens near the Princes Avenue end, yes. My dog has had the odd exciting encounter on her late night walk, too, and has been lured straight across the road - she's fox-coloured, too

. They're always far too fast for her, though.

Why would a fox be driving a car at 2 o'clock in the morning!!
