| Quote ="rover49"No for me.
We are bound to struggle without our main playmaker and on top of that we have lost a top player in Newton. Since Newton has been out we have really struggled to contain sides out on the side of the field he plays in, its no coincidence IMO, add to that Vella and I am not suprised we lost to Hudds, in fact it was one game I had down as a loss when the fixtures came out.
I was disappointed in the last 10 mins though, if we had not let those last three tries in I would have left sad to have lost (as I am in any game), but happy in containing them.'"
Totally agree we had them looking at 16 to 22 but giants are a top team the scoreline flattered them, but when they needed to step up that extra gear they did it and finished us of, I have no doubt that when we get our players back we will come good, at this point in time I would say were missing Newton more than we thought he is a tackling machine, and I am sure once the warm weather comes we will see a different rovers side.

I think Morgan is a great coach and he is honest and open about how difficult things were going to be this next few weeks but we will be at the right end of the table when it matters most, think Morgan says our season starts at the derby didn't he that will do me BB

Seems that with the lights problem the Giants MD wanted to play. Whereas Jutstin 'chicken' Morgan was very keen to quit. What a great message to send your team and your supporters. It appears that when the going gets tough JM wants to retreat. the HKR fans deserve someone with b*lls.

| Justin is a good coach (not a great coach (yet)) He is still learning the job, what we need to see is how he deals with adversity & how he turns the situation around. the end of the season is when the club needs to evaluate the job the he has done & I would think Justin himself would know if he could do any better & would go of his own accord if he has done all he can. Untill then he has my support (for what it is worth).

| I personally cant even believe theres a poll on this, for me its stupid to even think of getting rid of Morgs.
1) This is the 1st bit of real pressure there has been because we've been flying high or the expectation wasnt there.
2) Now weve got expections for doing well.... who brought them upon us...?
3) The players respect Morgs has a coach and the faith is still there.
4) Theres phish all else out there to take the helm.
Just afew pointers and theres plenty more, and yes im as gutted as anyone BUT were going through a rough patch, this could be the only one we have this season and it could turn around and be a great year!
KEEP THE FAITH.

With Saints, Leeds, Wigan and the derby to come we could sat on 4 points from 11 games, if this is so we can kiss the top 8 goodbye.

| Certainly dark clouds are now gathering not just for justin but also some of these mediocre players. I really fear for us in the coming weeks. Currently we are the worst team in this division. A challenge cup game against York looks dodgy to say the least. A lot of these players need to start looking in the mirror and asking themselves whether they are fit to wear the shirt of this great club, because i am not sure they are.

No you aren't. Crusaders are.
If you need a scrum half, by the way, we have one going spare.

| I haven't' voted, but are you in the same position with JM that we were with Paul Cullen a few years back.
There are similarities, Paul became our Coach when we were very very poor and took us to the verge of being a top 6 team and that was as far as he could take us.

In my opinion we are the worst i watched us against crusaders and for me we were lucky, a welham intercept dragged us over the line after capitulating towards the end.

hello im talking crap how so i put out a open question that has been on my mind for a while this wasnt a judgement on justin nor was it sack justin! I do have doubts so are you saying ive no right to express them or ask open questions? maybe i should be a yes man and say everythings wonderful are they?,
We dont have a back up scrum half why? most teams do and when we lost dobbo has murrell and green done the job im not sure its working. my only mistake in posting should been a two dimension question do you believe justin can turn it around etc. there are some players who clearly arent cutting it anymore am i wrong??. i sincerley apologise craven park that ive expressed my opinion. and put a feeler out there. Gml is right and a lot of hull fans would vote to be troublesome. at the end of the day every fan has the right to ask questions and express opinions.
in closing i do sincerley hope that jm pulls it round when dobbo comes back we will climb the table show what a force i believe we are. But at the moment we are a ship without a rudder!

| As an outside fan looking in I haven't voted but I must admit this did occur to me watching your game last night. With the size of your pack and the backs you've got you should be doing a lot better. OK Dobson is a big miss but the team just seems to give away too many daft penalties.
Your coach just seems to accept defeat too easily as if he's seen it all before, he lacks the hunger.
I think he needs a change for his own career as well as for your club.

| Very premature to be having this thread imo. Morgan has done a great job with Rovers and deserves a bit more time before fans condemn him.
That said I have always had my resverations about him and think he is a bit overhyped.
I never voted.

I haven't voted either. But does anyone think Mason is the new Cooke from Morgan's perspective? Just a thought. Morgan will win the 2 derbies this year, as usual. That's pretty much job done as it's hard to imagine either team troubling the latter stages of either competition without a big slice of luck in the cup draw.
