On the twitter 'announcement' - fair enough, you'd expect him to be excited. But these things need a little management and co-ordination. Right now, he's out there on his own and until something comes from the club, it's difficult to know what to think. While, even as the board cold fish, I'm not immune to ambition and the dream of silverware, talk of the club 'rising from its slumber' could be seen as a little less than gracious given how far the club has come under the current and recent members of the board.

In fairness, he's handled the questions about his business past as well as could be expected in 140 characters.

If and when there's a formal announcement and a chance for him and the club to do a press conference, then things will be clearer. Today's Sunday and tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so I'm not sure there is much immediate prospect of that.
