Signed for Wakefield for next season

Well I did not see that coming but James Webster will know what he is like will miss him good at times bad at other times

I really did think he would make good when he came to us and I for one would have liked him to stay but i think its been pretty clear he was off somewhere, sure some monochrome said he was going to return to the dark side

What`s your source mate ? what's your opinion on him ? every time I've seen him play, he's looked impressive but I don't watch him every week.

Makes school boy errors - both application/decisions too often. There's a really good player in there somewhere, but there's also a pretty average one too. You likely see both in the space of 5mins.

His biggest attribute is perhaps been his biggest problem. His versatility means he can adequately cover 1-7. Meaning (for us) he's been viewed simply as a great squad player. Throughout his time here, he's never really nailed down any position for any great length of time.

I believe that if he's given the chance to be starting number ..... he may finally fulfill his potential and be a good SL player. Wakefield might just be the club he needs. Failing that, you've (potentially if this rumour is true) signed a good squad player if nothing else.

Lacks bottle you could tell that against Huddersfield just one example when his fell out won't be missed as far as. I am concerned

Well he has 1 vital statistic in common with Wakey's coach.

he's a cracking player when his heads up, any confidence knock and he's gone though. He's certainly a talented player but as has been said he's prone to one or several errors.

Totally agree, when he first broke through at Hull, I thought he would be an England centre by now, he just ozzed class and has the all the skills to make a top centre, unfortunately he just hasn't kicked on a t Hull or Rovers and still has defensive problems and prone to silly errors.

A decent signing for wakey and I'd take him as a squad player at Hull, but doubt he will ever make a top player now.

He's like a few in our squad, one good thing followed by 2 bad. Eden, cockayne and welham all fall into that bracket.

Should have kept him. He's a far better centre than Welham but never got a run of games in his preferred left centre position because of the ginger turnstyle.

Good luck at Wakey Craig, deserved better treatment at Rovers.

Glad he's gone. Loved 'cos he's a local lad but in reality offered nothing special apart from the occasional game. Rewatch the last two games as examples of the fact that he kicks off to exactly the same point EVERY SINGLE TIME, and his guaranteed ability to knock on at good attacking moments when the momentum is inour favour. Sorry. Ordinary, very ordinary. Sure he tried his best though.

Dobson & Cockayne both kick off to the same spot repeatedly. Nobody measures their contribution to Rovers by their kick off style (or is it stile?).

Roversmad, I do feel your style of journalism is better suited to the HDM comments section, and is one of the reasons I don't write much on here,as you seem to be currently turning each thread into a Sh~t slinging match with anybody who has a difference of opinion, or even any opinion.

Just pointing out the difference between style and stile. Not my fault if eveyone is touchy.
