He was probably covering his options when he missed pre season and the start of the season.

That's fair enuf but then to blatantly go before the wigan game is out of order rovers had every intention of waiting for his passport, imo Mason has tried to make him self out the innocent party here

Pity they didn't make that clear at his unvailing press conference. IMO six of one, half a dozen of another, both parties are to blame for pieces of the whole jigsaw.

three fours IMO. Rovers shouldn't have signed an on-quota player without having a quota spot free. Eligible to come off quota, player but that's a partial excuse at best. Mason should have been open about Toulon - I don't blame a pro, especially a 31 year old pro, for looking at the sort of money rumoured, but I'm hardly going to applaud him either.
