Why did your stewards stop our players coming our to their fans after the final whistle? After having to endure 80 minutes of total shambles, we then had our team practically frog marched from the field from the 20 meter line.

To be honest, when I saw the title of this thread, I feared worse!

The stewards in the golf stand were fine. Just wondered about the strange human blockade on the 20 meter line. About 50 fans made the trip over

wasnt expecting you too bring that many TBH, i didnt notice the stewards blocking your players. cant understand why they would do it either

I think the stewards err on the side of caution nowadays as some players have been known to invite their support onto the pitch.

I don't think any visiting players have ever invited the East Stand onto the pitch. Well, apart from Singe Ellis that is.

Maybe but sledging Raynor with his family in the ground was a bit off. Don't think Thomas and Flower were too keen on the sheep sh@gger chants either!

I'm pretty sure Raynor was expected a rough reception coming to Craven Park and to be fair it was pretty light compared to when he came with FC. As for Thomas and Flower, if sheep sh@gger is the worse they get all season then I'm sure they'll be more than happy.

Its happened at every single Home game this year, not sure why (presume it has alot to do with 2007 derby?) But i do think it needs looking at; as travelling fans deserve the support from players at full time.

Go and ask the Hull FC fans that question it stems from them thinking a pitch invasion from the golf stand is ok back in 07.
No players have been past the 20 meter line after the full time hooter since.

I can't say I heard any chants aimed at Gareth Thomas.

I still think it needed to be clarified though.

I was in the east stand and never heard any chanting aimed at Thomas, I was pleasantly surprised by this as it would have been a completely out of order if homophobic chanting had been used as it has been (reportedly) at a few other grounds.
