Pursue Eorl Crabtree, is he out of contract at the end of the year?

We need an offloader like him, thought he played very well against Cas at the weekend and offloading forwards are something we are missing,

If Hull KR carry on the form this season they can be looking at better more well known players than Crabtree. Just keep your hands off O'Meley, Mason, MoiMoi and Luke Bailley untill we have signed one.

Yep, I agree with that, but what with the overseas quota and the need for English players.. he's from Cleethorpes too! It might have been a decent buy.

If your after an English prop why not Lynch from Bradford? He is iff contract.

Talking of big name players, did you hear Gwyllum on RH tonight? When someone mentioned Rovers going for an NRL top hooker he seemed to hint at he knew or thinks something is afoot. He said something like "now that's an interesting thought." Maybe I am just wishful thinking but he did give the impression there was something in it!

We certainly need another specialist hooker, the Fitz/Cockayne/Stanley experiment is not a great success IMO. Just look at Leeds and Saints with each having 2 class hookers (Diskin/Buderas & Cunningham/Roby). I think we need similar quality cover in that position.

We are aiming higher that Crabtre , his uncle was a laugh in the leotard at City Hall, but thats about it really , we will attract far bigger signings in the future , forget garlic bread, Hull KR its the future

If crabtree was born in Sydney not Cleethorpes and played in the NRL we'd be wetting our pants about trying to sign a big impact, off loading prop (basically what we haven't got at the moment) but cos he plays at Hudds he's not good enough for us. Makes me wonder if anyone actually watches other games on here. The guy constantly takes 4 players to get him tied up (usually 5 if its us and he still gets the ball out) and I for one would be very happy if we could get him here.

well said, thats was my point - most clubs in SL would love to have Eorl in their squad as he is widely regarding as one of the best props in the business - how you can say you can attract better players then good luck but there aint many better than Big Eorl around

The times I've seen him play he has always been effective , attracting a number of defenders but still good at the off load.

He also can play a fair few minutes as well.
