Pulled up in the warm-up last night (Whitehaven v Widnes).

If we wanted him for a stop gap this season I could see the point as he's very versatile could fill the gap at stand off. If we're after finch I'm not sure where he would fit next season; unless someone else is going.

He is; Full back, hooker and stand off if I remember correctly.

I always rated him even when he was taking a caning after we got Briscoe. He had an absolute mare at FB on occasion but offers pace and versatility.

Backward step, if he was up to it he wouldn't be playing where he is.

Quota, very injury prone, can't see the point unless it was for the final few games this year.

Decent hooker I reckon, but doubt even we'd be able to fit another quota player in

saying that tho, motu was a great player..now an injury prone ex star in my opinion...dont bother taking it any further unless you want to waste your money...

he is utter poop now I saw him against Batley and he looked like he had never played the game, although they did play him at scrum half !! lost his pace and not a shadow of the player he was....a bad bad move

he had 3 bad games in a row which people jumped on the bandwaggon and slated him for the rest of his days. Apart from that he probably made as many mistakes as any other player.

not good enough at FB, as they say your only as good as your last game BUT sharp hung motu out to dry at fc, he was a lamb to the slaughter after briscoe.....
at the time we didnt need berrigan but we got him which resulted in motu nailing his coffin shut at FB.......
shame cus he was a top player for fc, and i wont 4get the try vs leeds at cardiff..

IF he was anywhere near a super league player he would be at a super league club still. He was a decent player but has lost pace and is injury prone, which is why he was let go in the first place.

Is it me, or has Mullan lost it completely and resorted to making stuff up? Jake Websters's leaving (then re-signs), Hall going to Rovers (Hall denies going to Rovers), I'm sure there are more examples. Who are his sources, as they seem to be having a laugh at his expense?

Motu Tony is a funny case. He actually got worse as his career went on. He debuted for the Warriors in 2001 and had a great first game. Played consistently for the rest of the year but was never the same player after 2001. By the time he went to the Superleague in 2004, he was a shadow of his former self. Maybe it’s because of the injuries. In saying that, he never looked like a natural footballer if you know what I mean.

He's playing where he is to prove his fitness after pretty much 18 months out of the game. He's still young enough to bounce back too.

I'd snap Motu up back at FC in a shot if he proved his fitness.

Therein lies the problem.
