Does anyone know for sure what Kelly`s injury is and how long he is out for, and how long Campese is out for.

Also is Mantellato out for the season, heard his broken arm is the one with the plate on and if it`s affected that then its a season ender, if not then 4-5 weeks.

Just a bit of fun and not to be take to seriously but, what would you consider to be Terry Campese's overall value, taking into consideration his undoubted quality, assumed contract payment, games played and how much service we may, or may not get out of him in the future due to his well documented injury woes?

I believe it may be another year after this one though I'm not 100% sure.
Personally I would love him to be given a position on the coaching staff in the future, assuming he was prepared to accept it of Course.
His knowledge and persona would be invaluable assets to keep within the club in my opinion.

He's apparently been great to have around the club without him being fit enough to play. That to me isn't enough tho, for our (probable) top payed player. He won't walk away tho, even if he's got at least a year left.

There's always next year I suppose. He surely can't have year after year like this......can he?

The injury management at the club is at best pathetic. Why play Campese at Leeds on a cold night without having any try out in a lower grade match? That's twice they've rushed him back before he is ready and the player and the club are now picking up the tab. I hope that the Board are looking closely at this particular area and addressing the issue.

Which "lower grade" match would you have him play in?

Rubbish hamstring problems are common after so long out and he was passed fit to play not exactly rushed back as we've played a year without him

I'd agree with you if it was the same knee injury. But Hamstrings are so unpredictable. It's just really unfortunate.

So difficult this one as I have a serious Campese man crush, which is weird because I really hated his uncle in the days when my Onion playing Dad was still alive and we'd watch Onion games together.

I'm just too much of a fan for these kind of decisions, I'd probably still have Wayne Parkin at seven if it were up to me.

Regarding your man with the best barnet, Albert Kelly continues to play too much of a peripheral role this season. This could be due to genuine injuries or earlier overhyped and excessive fan adulation frying his ego. Is he still your main tonsorial man crush or have you got a new player fave?

More to the topic, does anyone know for sure how long Mantellato is sidelined for? The team really miss him I think, not just for his goal kicking (which will haunt us in a tight knit game) but for his marker running and areal ability in both defence and attack.

If it is a broken wrist /arm as reported, then you are usually looking at between 6 and 8 weeks for it to heal, plus he will then have to get back into training before he is fit enough to take the field.
So, bearing in mind he has already been out a couple of weeks I would say possibly somewhere between 6 and 9 weeks before he is back in action, unless they are going to use that new bone fusing technique some specialists have apparently started using.

James Webster interview yesterday on Hull KR TV said that only James Donaldson and Albert Kelly were due back before June.

Donno has his pot off and will resume training in advance of the Oldham cup tie. One of Albert's man boob implants has burst (rib cartilage to you and I) and he will be back in a fortnight.

So Larroyer, Mantomato, Salter and Campo out till June on the basis of my razor blunt deduction skills. Surprised French Kev is taking so long.
