The East Stand victim mentality hit new heights tonight.

I'm truly sick of hearing blinkered RL fans blaming all their teams shortcomings on officials.

I've said it before and I will say it again fans only see what goes against them nobody was shouting when we got the scrum when Craig Hall knocked on first and ade Gardners try was dubious nobody complains the ref was crap but he was crap for both sides God even sandercock didn't blame the ref tonight and Stan your right I was cringing in the east stand tonight

The fans had every right to blame the officials tonight.
Due to work commitments i was unable to make it to the game so had to watch it in the pub on Sky tv, what i saw just confirmed what most fans have thought for some time, that the officiating standards are shocking to say the least.
Watching on tv obviously gives you a much better view of what is happening on the pitch and some of the decisions tonight were unbelievable.
At least five forward passes from Huddersfield and one or two from Rovers were missed by the referee and linesman, one try in particular scored by Huddersfield was well forward and should have been spotted.

The incident with Gardener in touch, you could clearly see he was not in touch, Huddersfield scored just after the resulting Scrum , i'm not sure if they could have gone to the vr for this but if they could then why didn't they?
I know that these things unfortunately happen in most games but its happening far to often and it is simply not good enough from the officials.
Worst of all was the disallowed try as a result of supposed obstruction, even the full commentary Sky team said that it was in no way an obstruction, i could see it wasn't, everybody around me could see it wasn't and yet those two idiots in the Vr apt, (Silverwood and Ganson I believe) could not .
If they cant even get it right with the technology they have at their disposal then it is about time we either got rid of it all together or re educate the people who who are using it, its becoming a complete shambles.

maybe if your fans had tried supporting the players rather than taking what seems to be your club's stance on berating officials you may have got something out of the game, you were booing the officials in the warm up for gods sake and then spent 80 mins booing and cat-calling for anything and then booing again when you didnt get what you were wanting, it was actually embarrassing to a fellow RL fan tonight.

GIANT DAZ is right though, we were on the official's back's last night before the game had even kicked off. Some fans near me even had us down for a loss due to the official's before the game had kicked off.
Hudgell and Sandercock have got us into this us and them mentality nowadays and its far too negative IMO.

Bored of hearing it all now, yeah we got a couple of stinkers against but also got a couple for us. Our fanbase is becoming an embarrassment. Abkut time we shut up and got on with supporting the team

The east stand used to be daunting for away teams to come because of our support for our team, now its only daunting for refs. Even though officiating is bad, we need to support and sing for hkr, not the rfl

Yes the east stand gas become negative thanks to Sandercock and Hudgell leading the way. However, there was a bit of a shift away last night. Not a lot, but at least a start. The song about hating FC and barmy army is also getting old. Started to hear rovers till I die resurface again.

The whole obstruction rule has been made too technical. In the 1st cas wigan game on tv earlier this season, it made a joke of our sport.

at least we admit our away support is pants,we know it is and we take the proverbials out of it ourselves, rovers travelling hoardes soon got bored and gave up didnt they?

as for the game, haven't watch it back yet but i thought the officials were poor for both sides, the obstruction rule is a farce now, every team has suffered from it this year,every team gets bad calls from officials ( us have been on the end of some awful ones this year) but as others have said, rovers fans last night were hell bent on giving the officials a hard time from the outset, so you can hardly complain when he doesn't bend over backwards to piggy back you up field every time.
