I think the Finn incident was the provocation. he was possibly still aggrieved about what had or hadn't happened and lost the plot.

The one person who won't be surprised is Kris. I bet he is embarrassed about the Finn incident if he has seen it again, which I am 99.9% certain he has. As for the headbutt, well it was just a brain fart that he will have to serve a game for.

What're Rovers doing about it? Chance to curry favour with the RFL and make a few quid into the bargain if they hurry up and follow Newcastle Utd's example. Poor Wellhard, the timing couldn't have been worse.

According to Humberside,Gwyllim lloyd (yeah,he's probably got it completely wrong) said if Welham pleads guilty he'll just get a warning and no ban.If he challenges it,he's facing a one match suspension.

Pardew's was improper conduct, not violent conduct so if the RFL follow the FA's lead then apparently no violence occurred this weekend

Wasn't it the same situation with Poor at Wakefield last December when he used the guilty plea, resulting in a warning but no ban.?
I believe I am correct in saying, it was the reason why he could not use it last week, thus receiving a one match ban, though I'm sure someone will be quick to correct me if I'm wrong.

Not sure,but he said he didn't understand the rule so he rang the RFL and they assured him an early guilty plea would result in a warning and no ban.Any other subsequent grade A offences will result in a ban.Don't know if you're only allowed one warning per season or what!

I think you can only have one EGP a season.

One EPG per calender year.

An early guilty plea gets you the minimum punishment for the grade of the offence. For a Grade A offence that's a warning and a fine but no ban. A player can only enter one EGP per 12 months.

Can't you play Hall at centre? I always thought that would be where he made his name. I was always a fan personally, although there was not devastation when he left.

Welham isn't banned,but i think Hall would be the replacement in the centres.
I would be interesting to see how Lovegrove would get on there,imo i reckon he'd make a decent centre.
